Business Development Representative

Valyuz UAB is cutting edge payment service provider regulated by the bank of Lithuania and licensed as Electronic money institution. Valyuz offers alternative solution to traditional banking by offering its corporate clients with a payment account that has the following capabilities:

  • Send and receive funds through various payment protocols Such as SEPA, SWIFT, ACH, etc.
  • Pay in/Receive funds in various currencies
  • Manage balance in various currencies (currency conversion)
  • Prepaid debit card

Title: Business Development Representative

You will be responsible for:

  • Researching accounts prior to the first contact to understand the prospect needs and educate the prospect on the benefits of Valyuz solution;
  • Performing outbound targeting companies that meet Valyuz customer profile;
  • Becoming a credible resource and developing trusted relationships with prospects;
  • Identifying opportunities to hand-off to the Sales Account Executive for further follow-up;
  • Meeting BDR metrics and assigned goals;
  • Managing leads through a defined process;
  • Working closely with our Sales teams to uncover opportunities at target accounts follow-up, qualify and identify opportunities, and outbound efforts targeting accounts to feed the sales pipeline.

We expect that you have:

  • Higher Education (preferably in business administration, economics, finance or related field);
  • Work experience – At least 2 (two) years of experience in Sales and / or customer retention. Experience in EMI, bank or other financial institution is a plus. Experience in the Banking / Fintech is a plus;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office: Excel, MS Word; LinkedIn;
  • Excellent follow-up skills responding to and qualifying leads Research skills and curiosity;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and resources effectively;
  • Objection handling skills;
  • Superb communications skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to demonstrate; products highlighting benefits/advantages/features;
  • Self-starter, with a high-energy, positive phone presence;
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English

Salary: Starting from 2809.91 Eur (gross). The salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
