How do I set up a Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on my account? What is a One-Time Password (OTP)?

To access the online banking system or approve payments, Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is automatically set up on your account with one-time password (OTP) via SMS as the default method. However, you can select from three available 2FA methods based on your preference and security needs:

Available 2FA Methods:
OTP via Email: A generated code is sent to your email address for authentication.
OTP via SMS: A generated code is sent to your phone via SMS (default option).
MAC Keys: A generated code is provided through an app on your phone.

A one-time password (OTP) is a randomly generated string of letters, numbers, and/or symbols sent to the user. It is valid for only one login session or transaction, offering greater security compared to static passwords, especially those that may be reused or vulnerable to theft.
